Pro Sports IQ — Data & Analytics Policy

Last Updated: October 6th, 2026

1. Purpose

Pro Sports IQ is a sports research and analytics platform operated by 2849797 ALBERTA Ltd.

This Data & Analytics Policy explains generally how Pro Sports IQ obtains, processes, transforms and presents sports information and how users should interpret the statistical models, projections, ratings and other analytical outputs available through our Services.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

2. Our Approach to Sports Data

Pro Sports IQ may use factual sports information obtained from commercially licensed providers, appropriately licensed datasets, public or open datasets where their terms permit our intended use, and other authorized sources.

Depending on the sport and service, source information may include:

  • schedules and game information;
  • scores and results;
  • team statistics;
  • player statistics;
  • rosters and lineups;
  • player participation and playing time;
  • injuries and availability information;
  • possession, attempts, shots, yards or other sport-specific measurements;
  • historical performance;
  • market and odds information; and
  • other factual information relevant to our analytical models.

The availability and completeness of particular data may vary by sport, competition, season and provider.

3. Proprietary Analytics

Pro Sports IQ uses independently developed statistical models and analytical methodologies to transform source information into proprietary sports intelligence.

Depending on the product or sport, Pro Sports IQ may generate:

  • team and player ratings;
  • power rankings;
  • projected scores;
  • win probabilities;
  • confidence ratings;
  • projected player totals;
  • fantasy projections;
  • projected spreads and totals;
  • model-derived fair odds;
  • matchup ratings;
  • opponent adjustments;
  • efficiency measurements;
  • simulation results;
  • model-versus-market comparisons; and
  • other derived analytics.

These outputs represent Pro Sports IQ analytical calculations and should not be interpreted as raw third-party data.

4. Model-Generated Fair Odds

Pro Sports IQ may convert independently calculated probabilities into model-derived fair odds, projected spreads or projected totals.

These values represent our statistical assessment of an event.

They are not sportsbook offers or wagering lines and cannot be accepted as wagers through Pro Sports IQ.

Where actual market information is displayed, Pro Sports IQ may compare its independently generated model values against licensed market information.

5. Statistical Uncertainty

Sports analytics involve uncertainty.

Models use historical and current information to estimate possible future outcomes. They cannot account perfectly for every factor affecting a sporting event.

Unexpected circumstances may include injuries, lineup changes, coaching decisions, player performance, weather, officiating, overtime and random variation.

Accordingly:

A 70% probability does not mean an outcome is guaranteed.

It means the model estimates that outcome as having approximately a 70% likelihood based on the information and methodology available when the calculation was produced.

6. Data Timing

Sports information changes continuously.

Pro Sports IQ may display a Last Updated, Model Snapshot, or similar timestamp where appropriate.

A model generated at one time may differ from a later model because of:

  • updated statistics;
  • injuries;
  • roster changes;
  • starting lineup changes;
  • new market information;
  • corrected source data; or
  • model updates.

Users should consider the applicable timestamp when reviewing analytical information.

7. Historical Model Records

Pro Sports IQ may preserve historical model snapshots before sporting events begin.

These records may be compared with actual results to evaluate areas including:

  • winner accuracy;
  • projected-score accuracy;
  • confidence calibration;
  • spread performance;
  • model-versus-market performance;
  • player projection accuracy; and
  • performance under different statistical conditions.

Where historical performance is displayed, it represents past model results and does not guarantee future performance.

8. Data Quality

Pro Sports IQ takes reasonable steps to use reliable data sources and maintain accurate analytical systems.

However, third-party information may occasionally be delayed, incomplete, corrected or inaccurate.

Pro Sports IQ does not guarantee that all source information will always be complete, current or error-free.

Where material errors are identified, Pro Sports IQ may correct source information and regenerate affected analytics where practical.

9. Missing Information

Pro Sports IQ does not intentionally manufacture missing factual information.

Where required information is unavailable, the platform may:

  • display the information as unavailable;
  • exclude the affected factor;
  • reduce model confidence;
  • delay generation of an analytical output; or
  • use another permitted methodology identified by the model.

10. Data Sources and Licensing

Pro Sports IQ maintains procedures for reviewing the rights associated with third-party data used commercially.

Our objective is to document, where applicable:

  • data source;
  • applicable licence or commercial agreement;
  • commercial-use rights;
  • storage rights;
  • attribution requirements; and
  • redistribution restrictions.

Third-party data remains subject to the rights of its respective owners and licensors.

Nothing displayed through Pro Sports IQ transfers ownership of third-party data to a user.

11. Intellectual Property

The selection and use of factual inputs does not transfer ownership of Pro Sports IQ’s independently developed technology.

Subject to applicable third-party rights, proprietary Pro Sports IQ intellectual property may include:

  • statistical models;
  • algorithms;
  • formulas;
  • model factors;
  • weighting methodologies;
  • simulations;
  • ratings;
  • probabilities;
  • projections;
  • fair-odds calculations;
  • analytical reports;
  • visualizations;
  • software; and
  • model-development methodologies.

Use of Pro Sports IQ is governed by our Terms of Use.

12. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Analysis

Pro Sports IQ may use automated analytical systems, statistical modelling, machine learning or artificial-intelligence-assisted processes in developing or presenting certain features.

Automated outputs remain subject to statistical uncertainty and should be evaluated as analytical information rather than statements of fact regarding future events.

13. Fantasy Intelligence

Fantasy projections and player rankings generated by Pro Sports IQ are derived analytical estimates.

Projected player totals may consider information such as historical performance, expected participation, opponent characteristics, team context and other available statistical factors.

They do not guarantee actual playing time, fantasy points or contest results.

14. Market Information

Where permitted, Pro Sports IQ may display third-party market information including moneylines, spreads and totals.

Market information may change rapidly and may differ between providers or sportsbooks.

Pro Sports IQ does not guarantee that displayed market information remains available at the quoted value.

15. Responsible Use

Analytics should be used as one source of information—not as a guarantee of future results.

Users who choose to use Pro Sports IQ in connection with wagering should also review our Responsible Gaming statement.
